Video_TS Folders
iTheater can also play Video_TS
folders, iTheater searches your Movie folder for the Video_TS folders and puts
them in a menu for easy selection.
Video Playback
iTheater's video engine is based on
Quicktime but has been optimized so it uses less resources than the Quicktime
player making it great for thoses users with older macs. As iTheater is using
Quicktime, if you have any Quicktime plugin installed (e.g Flip4Mac to play
WMV's) they will work in iTheater. Also the info window gives you the video's details and preview and Alias are now supported.
Music Playback
Browse your iTunes library easily through
iTheater navigation system including playlists. Also the info window now shows album art.
Photos
iTheater can play your iphoto library in a
slideshow with the abilty to pause the slideshow at anytime by htting the space
bar.
Letter Skipping Menu
Just like you can in iTunes you can skip down a menu by typing letters. E.g type "T" and it will skip to the first thing beginning with the letter "T" and of course multiple letter entries are supported.
Widgets
Widget are little apps that sit at the bottom of
itheater in a dock and do some cool stuff.....read on.....
Wouldn't it be great to pause your music even when your not in the music menu? well yes and thats why we have developed the now playing widget for music, this can play and pause your music and show the track info, album art, handy. Also if you press space anyway in the menu it will pause or play the track in the widget.
We like to think that itheater is more then a media, we want it to your central hub for info so as a start we also have a clock widget because it good to know the time. Also we have the weather widget which is able to set it up for your home town.
